Pinnacle Design and Steel Detailing were privileged to be involved with the 3D modelling and 2D detailing of Flue Gas
Ducts for Medupi and Kusile power stations, which are currently under construction.
Pinnacle’s scope of work initially was system 7.5 only, however due to our performance the client awarded us a further
seven systems of the ducting.
All in all we delivered in excess of 120 000 drawings weighing in just shy of 30 000 tons,
together with all the relevant lists for procurement, planning and fabrication as well as NC data files for profile cutting and drilling.

Pinnacle Design and Steel Detailing were privileged to be involved with the 3D modelling and 2D detailing of the Royal Bafokeng
Sport Palace for the 2010 soccer world cup in South Africa. The software used for this project was Tekla Structures.
The stadium was the smallest of the stadiums constructed for the world cup South Africa; however was by far the most complicated
structure geometrically. The South African Institute of Steel Construction awarded this stadium an award for technical excellence
due to its complexity and successful execution.

Pinnacle Design and Steel Detailing were privileged to be involved with the 3D modelling and 2D detailing of The Presidential
Arrivals Building at Kinshasa airport.
Not only did Pinnacle model the building and create 2D steel detailing data pack for PLB Consulting Engineers, but were also
commissioned by the glazing company Rene Turck to model and detail all the glazing as well as all the aluminium framing required
to support the glass on the steel and concrete structure.

detailing of the Component Rebuild Centre for Goldfields Tarkwa mine in Ghana.
